Dept., inside of case lined in purple velvet, undecipherable makers mark on velvet separator inside lid, contents include amputation saws, scalpels, tourniquet, trephine, and other medical instruments, papers include muster in, requisitions, returns, and a carte-de-visite of Dr. Lucius W. Clarke in uniform, case lg. 16 1/8, wd. 6 3/8, ht. 3 3/8 in.
Some light dings on case, and a small split, papers have some splits at folds, instruments in good condition.
