The Highland Stag by Clarence Roe (British 1850-1909) signed lower corner oil painting on canvas, framed framed measurements: 20 x 28 inches condition: very good and presentable provenance: private collection, England A lovely late Victorian oil painting by the well listed and widely collected painter, Clarence Roe (1850-1909). The work is signed and is a fine example of his ability to capture the animals and landscape of Victorian Scotland. A very atmospheric work, with the setting sun shimmering in the Highland mist above this loch scene.
