Autumnal Fruits French School, indistinctly signed dated 1935 oil painting on canvas, framed framed size: 44 x 57.5 inches condition: overall very good and pleasing provenance: private collection, France Painted on this massive scale, this highly impressive French oil painting is almost like a window on the wall - looking straight at this French Chateau and its parkland. The artist has captured early autumn fruits and flowers laying to the ground, with the chateau itself almost framed by the surrounding trees and parkland. The paintings colors, brushwork and sheer scale make it a delight to stand before. It is presented in a natural wood frame which sets if off very well.
