Zambia, finely worked in dense hardwood, the domed lid surmounted by a stylized leopard with dotted surface texture, the bowl of oval form with smooth, darkened patina from handling and age. Minor wear and natural age cracks consistent with age. Mounted on a modern stand. Lg. 17, ht. 8 ½, with base 10 ½, wd. 10 ½ in. Provenance: Private collection, Phoenix, AZ; Mort Lipkin, London, UK.
