- Lot Description
Late Classic, circa 550-950 A.D., posed in meditation, with legs folded and hands gently resting on the knees, with downward-curving open mouth, deeply set eyes, wearing wraparound cape, and jewelry, the face with remains of red pigment and brows darkened with bitumen. A few very small chips and losses. Ht. 14 in. 35.5 cm.
