- Lot Description
Small Eskimo child's bow with matching arrow and wrist guard. The bow is hand-carved from a single piece of wood with a sinew string and retains an early, naturally aged surface. The accompanying arrow features a tapered wooden shaft and small fore shaft, while the wrist guard with two perforations for attachment. Fine patina and surface wear consistent with traditional use and age. Comes with an old photograph of an Eskimo boy using the bow and arrow. Lg. 18, 15 ½, 2 in.
