Alaska, late 19th century, the doll made from wood, wearing a hide parka. The figure's face is simply and powerfully rendered, with incised eyes, nose, and mouth. The parka features hairs left on from the original hide, and the lower left leg contains fur remnants. Ht. 11 in.
