St Lawrence Island, Alaska, prehistoric period, carved from walrus tusk, the head of a caribou with open mouth, drilled eyes and prominent ears, with square-cut toggle end, eroded surface, with painted inventory number 'L.1231', one in the manner on inscription found on Webster Collection objects from the UK. Lg. 2 1/8 in.
