Placenticeras meeki, Cretaceous (144 - 65 mya), Alberta, Canada, there is no restoration or compositing on this specimen and no thick acrylic coating, so common on Canadian ammonites. There is a nice mosasaur bite on one edge. Dia. 8 in. Custom steel stand included.
