This Silver Tetradrachm struck around 36 BC, is a remarkable artifact from one of history’s most legendary alliances—that of Cleopatra VII and Marc Antony.
This coin, certified by NGC Ancients in Very Good condition, holds a Strike rating of 4/5 and a Surface rating of 2/5, preserving its historical significance and connection to one of the most dramatic periods of the Roman Republic.
Historical Context: By 36 BC, Cleopatra and Antony had cemented their political and romantic union, ruling the eastern provinces as they defied Rome’s growing hostility under Octavian.
