Unique roll-top desk crafted from English black walnut, walnut burl, and red poplar salvaged from the 1876 schooner Santa Clara, which sank in 1939 and was salvaged in 1948; round bronze plugs from the hull planks and white wood trim from cypress knees are incorporated into the design; this is desk #3 of twelve pieces of furniture made from the salvaged wood
height 47 in. x width 60 in. x depth 27 in.
