Barrel length: 8 in.
OAL: 13.5 in.
Condition: Fair-Antique; wood grips have wear & patina commensurate w/ age; barrel, frame & cylinder have gray/brown patina & scattered pitting/rust commensurate w/ age; mainspring is broken; bore has light scattered pitting w/ fairly strong rifling remaining; cylinder rotation is functioning, but action is incomplete without the mainspring
Includes: roll engraved round cylinder (engraving is faded & shallow)
Marked: left grip is marked w/ "WHR" cartouche from William H. Roberts; right grip is marked w/ possible "JT" cartouche from John Taylor (marking is barely legible and hard to make out); barrel address reads "-ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA-"
