Condition: Fair/Good-Antique; wood grips have heavy wear & patina w/ chipping on left grip; barrel & frame retain approx. 30% of blue finish w/ mostly brown patina throughout; scattered light pitting; cylinder has mostly brown patina w/ some pitting; brass trigger guard & backstrap have lost a lot of the brass plating to bare metal; bore retains brightness & strong rifling w/ some light scattered pitting; hammer does not stay locked back when cocked, so it will not currently fire; needs some smithing work on the action
Includes: roll engraved round cylinder; case colors remaining on inside of plunger lever; nice bluing on underside of barrel cover by plunger lever
Marked: "U.S." martially marked on left side of frame; matching SNs; barrel address reads "-ADDRESS SAML. COLT HARTFORD, CT.-"; "C" marks on backstrap, cylinder, and trigger guard
