Barrel length: 32.5 in.
OAL: 51.5 in. (board: 58 in. long x 7.5 in tall x 3 in. deep)
Condition: Good-Antique; wood stock & forend have wear & patina commensurate w/ age & use; barrel & receive/lockplate have gray/brown patina w/ scattered rust & light pitting; buttplate is rusted; bore retains some brightness w/ scattered frosting & pitting throughout; strong rifling remains; bayonet has significant rust & brown patina throughout
Includes: ramrod; bayonet; display board for hanging; adjustable rear sight
Marked: lockplate is dated "1863" w/ eagle crest & "U.S. / Springfield" (faded); top of breech block marked "1870" / eagle head / crossed arrows / "U.S."; right side of stock has metal plaque labeled "7"
