- Lot Description
This vibrant surrealist painting is an original oil on canvas created in the manner of Spanish master Joan Miró, known for his abstract forms, playful shapes, and bold use of color. The piece showcases signature Miró elements including biomorphic figures, whimsical lines, and cosmic symbols rendered in bright red, blue, yellow, and black against a light background. The artist's signature appears in the upper right corner.
The accompanying letter from Fundación Santiago Porrero (Madrid, 2012) states the painting measures approximately 41 x 30 cm and was purchased by the foundation secretary’s father in 1969 from Aritz Campero in Barcelona. The letter affirms it as an original work by Joan Miró.
