A pair of mid-century modern polished chrome 1UWV low profile Luminaire floor lamps designed in 1966, each with a rectangular foot raised on two peg feet with c shaped extendable narrow tube extending off back end, also supported at vertical joint with a single peg foot, and terminating at top in an adjustable triangular shade. Each marked to underside with cast mark "CEDRIC HARTMAN" over a cast of the designer's signature, and "MADE IN U.S.A." beside "980110", also with blue ovular sticker for Underwriters Laboratories Inc. Overall height (at lowest setting) 36", overall height (at highest setting) 41.5", depth 13", width of base 11".
Structurally sound and overall good condition. Each lamp is missing the Lucite ball switch. There are dings, slight oxidation, rubbing, surface wear; not distracting. Traces of white paint to one base and on both electric cords.
