A framed color lithograph calendar advertising the Great Northern Railway, depicting a Native American figure in profile wearing a feathered headdress and holding a drum. The image is based on an original portrait by Winold Reiss (German-American, 1886-1953). Printed text at lower margin reads “Original Portrait by Winold Reiss, New York,” with printer’s mark “Brown & Bigelow, St. Paul, U.S.A.” Calendar page for December 1937 present below the image.
Dimensions: 37.75” x 20.5” framed. 33” x 16” sight.
