Tsimshian Pacific Northwest Basket
The exterior features a repeating geometric motif in lighter tones against a rich brown ground, arranged in horizontal bands. The design is cleanly executed, with strong contrast and careful pattern alignment. Weaving is notably even throughout, indicating a skilled hand.
Interior displays uniform coiling with a smooth transition from base to sides. The rim is neatly finished and maintains its structure, with minor irregularities consistent with age and use.
