Southwestern United States, Arizona or New Mexico, Navajo (Diné) Peoples, ca. 1960. Beautiful man's sterling silver and turquoise bracelet made by notes Navajo silversmith Clarence Chama. Set with 4 natural stones of varying shapes, each in a medium green with natural brown and tan occlusions, and the silver bracelet shaped around each stone. The cuffs are decorated with swastikas (for good luck and good health) along with eagles, arrows and the sun symbol (found on New Mexico's state flag). Interior stamped "C. Chama" and "Sterling." Total weight with stones is 103 grams. Fits a wrist up to 8" in diameter. Size: 2.625" L x 1.375" W x 2.25" H (6.7 cm x 3.5 cm x 5.7 cm)
