- Lot Description
This American Brilliant Cut Glass plate is one you want to own. Its quality is evident everywhere starting with the fine clear glass and its center 24 point star burst. It is surrounded by finely cut cross hatch which is in turn surrounded by a sterling silver collar with gothic arches. If that were not enough, the cutter added a raised beveled foot. The sterling is marked and includes the E. G. Webster mark. The plate is most likely c. 1890.
