An excellent study of an iron worker by Ferdinand Frick (Sweden 1878 - 1939) cast at the Oskar Gladenbeck foundry which was well regarded for its high quality bronze castings. It operated from 1851 - 1926 which makes this a lifetime casting of Frick's work. The artist was known for his nudes and sculptures of the common man such as iron workers, farmers, and other laborers.
