39 lithographs on wove paper of Civil War personalities from the Cincinnati firm of Ehrgott, Forbriger & Co., ca. 1862, bound into a portfolio, plus one Currier and Ives lithograph of George Washington, Union figures include: Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, Ulysses S. Grant, and A.E. Burnside, among many others. Notable in this collection is the publisher's tendency to use the same background for different subjects, for instance the prints of Lincoln, Chase, Stanton, Tod, Morton, and Andrew Johnson sit in identical offices, and are different only in their facial features, ca. 1862, sheet size 16" H x 12 1/2" W.
