7.7 Bittner caliber, 6.25” octagonal barrel, S/N 41. Marked in the center of the right side of the frame with Bittner Patent then an oval with logo and a “W.” Finished in case colored frame, blued barrel, checkered fore end, walnut grips. Square butt which may be a period modification or could have been done at the factory. Very well done.
Barrel retains most of the original blue finish. Frame has most of the bright and vivid case colors with a light coat of the original lacquer finish protecting the colors. Grips are excellent. The square butt, there can be no doubt that it was done during the period. An interesting modification done on a very rare pistol and makes it more interesting to a advance collector.
