To whom it may concern,
The Colt described below belonged to the late Ernie Lind, whose spectacular rifle, shotgun and pistol skills have packed in crowds at sportsmen's shows, fairs, rodeos, police ranges and military bases for more than three decades.
When Winchester's legendary Ad Topperwein retired, he picked Ernie and his Wife -"The Shooting Linds"- to succeed husband and wife act he and Plinky had made famous. After Top instructed the Linds in the Topperwein technique, they represented Winchester with shooting exhibitions in every state in the union as well as Canada and Mexico, shooting more than ten million rounds of ammunition in the process.
