- Lot Description
Diminutive French Provincial Style Bombe Carved Commode, 21st c., the stepped edge serpentine bowfront top over two graduated drawers, flanked by carved bombe sides, on short scrolled cabriole legs joined by a shell carved skirt, H.- 28 1/2 in., W.- 34 in., D.- 18 in.21st c., mixed woods. Drawers work smoothly. Minor surface scratches to top, which appears to be made from wood veneer over chip board and a combination of other woods. Drawer sides are sanded plywood, drawer fronts appear to be carved solid wood. There are no condition issues to report, and it is an elegant example, however this is a modern reproduction. __________________________________________________________________________ ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
