Louis Philippe Carved Walnut Marble Top Commode, c. 1860, the rounded edge and corner figured gray marble over a setback cavetto frieze drawer and three deep drawers, on a plinth base on flat disc feet, H.- 35 1/2 in., W.- 47 in., D.- 23 1/2 in.Condition as is. Stain to marble in brownish color, center of top, approx. 6 in. by 3 in. Large areas of loss to veneer throughout. Proper left top wood edge is crumbling in multiple places. Two drawers are lined with green vinyl, and the others have remnants f contact paper. Keys are not present however all drawers can open and close. There are no shrinkage cracks to side panels. No chips or cracks to marble. Handsome piece in need of minor restorations. ________________________________________________________________________________ ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
