- Lot Description
A collection of Vintage samples or textile swatches with conversational prints as these pieces were from previous projects. There is a blend of designs which feature Egyptians, letters, scroll work, army coats, and more on 27 pieces ranging from palm sized pieces to pieces with some noticeable feet to them. There is a piece called Regulations and Alterations with features Napoleonic military dress and there are 6 additional color samples provided which can boost the number of samples included to 33. There is a handkerchief with Cleopatra's name, a woven lapel from the 1950s with the Egyptian goddess Iris, a group of Victorian people playing games outside, florals, geometrics, written words in French, and more. There is an additional Egyptian piece from 1954. The pieces are primarily cotton with some corduroy and polyester amongst the mixes. The pieces included are generally in good condition with some toning present and some small holes. This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.Please note, antique clothing, over 100 years old, and some vintage clothing, may not be suitable wearing. In House Shipping costs: typically, 1st Clothing Lot Ships for $20-$25, (Smaller Accessories 1st Lot, $10-15), each additional lots are $5-10.
