BID ON THE-SALEROOM
A 1920's silver and tortoiseshell lidded cut glass vanity jar. Hallmarked Herbert Scott Murdoch, Birmingham 1924. Maximum height measures 3 1/8 inches (8 cm).
The jar displays some general wear, surface scratches and marks. The silver mount is very tarnished and there are a few dints. The tortoiseshell is quite loose in the mount. The lid would benefit from a clean and polish. Some small edge chips to the glass. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark a little rubbed. - Shipping Info
