Curso Escolar 85-86
Visible 15 1/2 in. x 25 3/4 in., framed to 18 1/8 in. x 28 1/4 in.
A poster showcasing two young children, a boy and a girl, dressed in school uniforms, likely to be inspired by the Pioneros school uniform that was prominent in Cuba during the mid-1980's. The girl wears a red skirt with matching suspenders and cap, while the boy is donned in red shorts accented by a blue cap and ascot. Behind the two children, there is a large rose, likely there to reinforce the quote behind them. The text read and can be roughly translated to CURSO ESCOLAR 85-86 (School year 1985–1986), cada día de curso escolar una siembra para el futuro (Every day of the school year is a seed planted for the future).
