A pair of Russian silver candlesticks, embossed and chased with floral, foliage, and scroll decoration. Impressive high relief details. Both are hallmarked with the 84 silver proof and St George Moscow mark, struck with the Cyrillic hallmark "FG," most likely for the silversmith and owner of the workshop, Gorbunov Fyodor Grigoriev, 1895-1908. Russia, 19th century. Weight: 25.4 oz., (721 gr.)H: 10 in., (25.5 cm.)Excellent.
