Early 20th Century - A large, bulbous signed silver handle with Birmingham hallmarks atop, various filigree and floral design throughout. Handle unscrews to reveal 6 dental implements (one tool is signed "CRESCENT DENTAL MFG. CO. CHICAGO, ILL. PAT. APL'D. FOR". Shaft is ornately carved with floral and other design work and ivory inlay (diminimus applies). A few inlay pieces are missing. Shaft unscrews both at 1/3 and 2/3 of the way down, as well as at the horn ferrule. The first compartment contains 4 tools, second compartment contains a syringe and roll of dental floss, and the lower compartment near horn ferrule contains a tooth mold. The lower shaft also has two sections. One with a capped wooden tooth and the other a metal canister for floss.
