An exceptional lavender jadeite feather holder (hua ling guan) from the Qing dynasty (1644–1911), beautifully carved and finely polished. This elegant cylindrical ornament was traditionally worn at the back of an official’s hat to hold the stem of the prestigious peacock feather award (hua ling), a high honor bestowed by the emperor for exceptional service.

Material: Natural lavender jadeite (Type A – untested, sold as-is)
Color: Rich lavender with soft, even tone and smooth polish
Dimensions: 3 1/8”
Condition: Excellent antique condition; no cracks or repairs, only minor wear consistent with age.
Lavender jadeite is among the most sought-after jade colors, especially in Qing-period regalia. This example displays a graceful hue and elegant symmetry, making it a fine collector’s piece and an important artifact of Chinese imperial history.
