Handle decorated with vegetable motif. Hinged lid and quadrangular base. With mark from assayer "FCDA" (corresponding to Antonio Forcada y la Plaza). Quinto real; location seal ( crowned letter M, corresponding to Mexico City); "EDGA" seal, probably an abbreviation of the author's name.
Maintains burin stroke on lower part.
