- Lot Description
Impressive antique patinated metal figural statue depicting an archer in 13th century dress, standing in a dramatic pose with bow in hand and quiver suspended across the back. The figure features finely modeled Renaissance Revival style detailing, including a feathered cap, tunic, shoulder accents, chain, bow, and quiver, with a warm bronze-toned and verdigris patina throughout. The round base is fitted with a brass title plaque engraved “Archer” and “13th Sinc,” and the underside shows age, wear, oxidation, and casting texture consistent with an older decorative metal sculpture. A striking display piece with strong medieval character and decorative presence, showing surface wear, patina, oxidation, scratches, and minor losses or separations as photographed. Approx. dimensions (in): 24.75 x 8.25 x 8.
