- Lot Description
Offered here is a charming early 20th century pressed steel toy truck manufactured by the Moline Pressed Steel Co. of East Moline, Illinois, as indicated by the original stamped marking “Pat. Appld For.” This classic Model T–style vehicle features a black painted body with a box bed, bright red spoked wheels with white rubber tires, and a simple yet iconic open cab design with steering wheel intact. The piece displays authentic age-related wear including scuffs, light paint loss, and surface scratches, all of which contribute to its vintage character and originality. A wonderful example of American-made pressed steel toys, this truck is highly collectible and would make an excellent addition to any antique toy, automotive, or early industrial display collection. Approx. dimensions (in): 7 x 12 x 5.75.
