- Lot Description
Offered here is a classic vintage Buddy “L” pressed steel toy truck, manufactured by the Moline Pressed Steel Company of East Moline, Illinois, one of the most iconic American toy makers of the early 20th century. This example features its original black painted body with striking red spoked wheels and white rubber tires, along with a detailed front grille bearing the “Buddy L” name. The truck retains its original form including the open cab, steering wheel, and rear cargo bed, with a nicely preserved chassis visible underneath. Condition is very good for its age, showing expected wear such as minor paint loss, surface scratches, and light oxidation consistent with honest use, but overall displaying beautifully with strong color and structural integrity. A highly collectible and decorative piece of early American toy history, perfect for collectors of antique toys or automotive memorabilia. Approx. dimensions (in): 8.5 x 8.5 x 23.5.
