Early Buddy L pressed steel steam locomotive toy train engine by Moline Pressed Steel Co., East Moline, Illinois, retaining its original “The Buddy L Line Quality Toys” rear decal. The engine features a black and silver painted body with brass-tone handrails, cowcatcher front, detailed side rods, spoked wheels with white trim, cab windows, smokestack, bell, and rear firebox detail. This large-scale toy locomotive shows age-appropriate wear including paint loss, surface scratches, oxidation, dust, and decal wear, with some bends and small losses visible from use and storage. A desirable vintage Buddy L railroad toy with strong display appeal, offered as found and shown in the photos. Approx. dimensions (in): 9 x 24.25 x 6.5.
