- Lot Description
Wonderful vintage Mills Novelty Co. “Little Duke” one-cent trade stimulator/slot machine featuring a colorful Art Deco cast-metal front with red, yellow, orange, black, and silver detailing, side gum vendor attachment, visible jackpot/coin window, pull handle, top coin entry, and original-style wood cabinet. The machine displays nicely from all sides, with “Little Duke” cast into the side panel, serial number 8338 visible on the case, and “Made in U.S.A.” markings on the internal mechanism. The rear door opens to reveal the mechanical works, springs, coin path, and payout assembly, and keys are present as shown. Condition is consistent with age and use, including paint wear, oxidation, surface scratches, wood finish wear, and some edge/cabinet wear, all adding to its authentic period appearance. Mechanical operation has not been confirmed, so the piece is offered as found for display, collection, or restoration. A scarce and highly decorative early coin-op gambling/trade stimulator piece, ideal for collectors of antique slot machines, arcade machines, saloon memorabilia, and vintage coin-operated devices. Approx. dimensions (in): 24.75 x 16.25 x 9.75.
