[ALDRICH, Thomas Bailey (1836?1907)]. ?? [HERFORD, Oliver (1860?1935)]. Thomas Bailey Aldrich cut inscription and original drawing of Aldrich by Oliver Herford. Matted and framed, 16 ? x 15 ??. Original cut inscription by Thomas Bailey Aldrich with original caricature depicting a finely dressed Aldrich with a comically long mustache on which perches a bird and a small child, each reading Aldrich books, by writer, artist, and illustrator Oliver Herford. Oliver Herford was an American writer and illustrator whose works appeared in Century, Harper?s Weekly, Life, and Punch, among many other significant publications of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
