Illustrated from paintings by Lynn Bogue Hunt (all in color), numerous illustrations from photographs including several by Hemingway. Original publisher?s gilt?decorated blue cloth, top edge gilt, others uncut (spine darkened, some staining to upper cover, few spots of light fraying at extreme ends, contemporary gift inscription on ffep). FIRST EDITION, LIMITED ISSUE, one of 850 copies of the ?Regular Edition? from a total edition of 906. Includes contributions by Ernest Hemingway, Van Campen Heilner, Charles Lehman, and others.
