BALDWIN, James (1924-1987); STEIN, Sol (1926-2019). Sol Stein?s copy of unproduced Equal in Paris stage play. Circa 1950s. 68 pp, (8 x 10?). Bound in red fastener folder. Modern title page, sticker on front cover added by Sol Stein. Though originally published in Baldwin?s 1955 book Notes of a Native Son as an essay, the stage version of Equal in Paris would not see publication until Sol Stein?s 2005 book Native Sons. Provenance: From the estate of Sol Stein.
