[BINDING]. McCALL, George Henry (1879?1944). The Joseph Widener Collection: Tapestries at Lynnewood Hall, Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. Philadelphia and [New York: Rogers?Kellogg?Stillson Company], 1907. Large folio (457 x 349 mm). 25 mounted color?printed plates including frontispiece; each under Japanese tissue as issued. Contemporary half red levant, 7 compartments with 6 raised bands, compartments triple framed in gilt, 3 compartments gilt?lettered, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, stamp?signed by Riviere & Son (some light rubbing at edges). LIMITED EDITION, number 45 of 200 copies. AN ATTRACTIVE COPY, depicting the important tapestry collection of Joseph Widener (1871?1943). Widener was one of the founding benefactors of the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.
