HERRMANN, Alexander (1844 - 1896). Boudoir Card Portrait of Alexander Herrmann. Detroit: Le Clear Major, ca. 1885. Three-quarter length sepia tone image of Herrmann in his prime; the magician is seen wearing a high white collar and a frock coat, with one hand held behind his back. Oversize embossed photographer's mount, 9 3/4 x 6 7/8". Contemporary inked caption below the image. A handsome image. RARE.
