CERVANTES SAAVEDRA, Miguel de (1547-1616). The Life and Exploits of the Ingenious Gentleman, Don Quixote de la Mancha. Translated from the original Spanish by Charles Jarvas. London: J. and R. Tonson; S. Draper; and J. Dodsley, 1756. THIRD TONSON EDITION, of this famous English translation first published in 1742, contains a printer?s error, surviving into the present third edition, led to it being known as ?The Jarvis translation?.
