- Lot Description
Chicago / United Air Lines. Circa 1950s. Color offset lithograph airline poster. This poster is unsigned, but attributed to Joseph Feher (1909 – 1988), as part of a series of United posters by Feher from the early 1950s. The illustration depicts Michigan Avenue Bridge swinging upward to allow clearance for a boat to pass, with the Wrigley Building and Tribune tower set against a green sky and a United DC-6 flying overhead.
Linen backed. 39 1/2 x 25".
Condition
Repaired tears and restoration around edges and corners; a few restored losses down right side; some touch-up and restoration in image. B.
