[CIVIL WAR]. BANKS, R. W. (1843-1919). The Battle of Franklin November 30, 1864. The Bloodiest Engagement of the War Between the States. New York and Washington: The Neale Publishing Company, 1908. 88 pp. Publisher's full blue cloth, front board lettered in gilt (spine toned and rubbed, corners lightly bumped and rubbed, endleaves toned, front endleaves with erasure marks and a small ink notation). Fine. FIRST EDITION. Banks was a captain of Company D, 37th Mississippi Infantry. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 7 x 6 x 1".
