CLEMENS, Samuel Langhorne (?Mark Twain?) (1835?1910). Extract from Captain Stormfield?s Visit to Heaven. New York/London: Harper & Brothers, 1909. 8vo. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, sheets bulk 5/8? (no priority). Frontispiece with tissue guard. Publisher?s pictorial red cloth with white and blue lettering and illustration to front board (pale spotting and three trifle stains below title on front board, spine lightly sunned, previous owner bookplate to ffep); a tight copy. BAL 3511. Mark Twain?s final book to be published during his lifetime.
