DICKENS, Charles (1812-1870). Master Humphrey?s Clock. London: Chapman and Hall, 1840-41. FIRST EDITION IN BOOK FORM, with the rare plates by Sibson published by Tyas to coincide with and extra-illustrate Chapman and Hall?s monthly issue of Master Humphrey. The plates were subsequently published in one volume by Tyas in 1842 with only 70 plates. Eckel, p. 61; Gimbel A51, H1139 (?Parallel? plates), H1153-55 recording an incomplete set of the Sibson plates; Smith I:6.
