[DOYLE, Arthur Conan, 1859-1930, association]. A group of 10 catalogues pertaining to Doyle manuscripts from ?The House of El Dieff?. [V.p., ca. 1940s-1970s]. 8vos and 4tos. Most are illustrated. Publisher?s printed wrappers or hardcovers (some occasional wear, creasing, soiling). Generally fine condition of these rare catalogues from this prestigious antiquarian bookseller. Catalogues include: ?Looking Backward? Books and Manuscripts of the Detective-Crime-Mystery Story, Doyle-Ia Est Omnis Divisa In Partes Tres?, Sherlock Holmes and Sherlockiana, The Detective Story, The Distinguished Library of Detective-Crime-Mystery Fiction, Sixty Four, Sixty Five, Seventy, 40th Anniversary and Supplement to 40th Anniversary Catalogue. Some of the items offered in these catalogues include two original manuscript leaves from The Hound of the Baskervilles with an original drawing by Frederic Dorr Steele, the only Sherlock Holmes manuscript with a presentation inscription, the complete manuscript of The Valley of Fear and much more.
