[DOYLE, Arthur Conan, 1859-1930, association]. A group of 23 catalogues pertaining to Doyle manuscripts, etc. [V.p., ca. 1930s-2010s]. 8vos and 4tos. Most are illustrated. Publisher?s printed wrappers (some general wear, occasional soiling, some with previous owner?s markings or notes). Some of the titles include: The American Art Association - Anderson Galleries (1936; the sale includes the first presentation copy of The Sign of Four), Hanzel Galleries (this sale includes a copy of The Sign of Four), Scribner?s (the manuscripts for The Adventure of the Red Circle), Parke-Bernet Galleries (1955, the manuscript of The Lost World), Parke-Bernet Galleries (1938, the William Randolph Hearst Collection, which includes the original manuscripts of The Refugees and Micah Clarke). Other catalogues include sales for manuscripts of The Missing Three-Quarter, The Land of Mist, The Poison Belt, Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax, The Greek Interpreter. A diverse collection of many scarce and obscure catalogues and other publications.
